Get a copy of the Manufacturer’s Certification document that indicates that the PV Solar Shutter:
- Qualifies as photovoltaic devices which use solar energy to generate electricity and qualifies under the Internal Revenue Code: Section 25D, as “Qualified Solar ElectricProperty” and Section 48 “energy property” which may be eligible for an energy credit as outlined in the provisions of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
- Meet the provisions of the Buy American Act.
Get a copy of IRS form 5695 for energy credit for purchase of a “Qualified Solar Electric Property”.
